Does it speak French?
Yes. It answers in English or French, based on how the caller speaks. JM sets up French during your free pilot and tests it on your own calls.
Can I keep my current number?
Yes. You keep your number. Your phone provider forwards missed or after-hours calls to the receptionist. Bell, Rogers and Telus all offer call forwarding. Nothing changes for your callers.
What does it cost?
The pilot is free for 14 days. After that, Office is $499 a month with 600 minutes, and Solo is $249 a month with 300 minutes. Prices in CAD, plus HST. No setup fee. Extra minutes $0.30 each. Pay yearly and get 2 months free. Spam calls and calls under 15 seconds are not billed.
What about privacy?
It tells every caller it is an AI and that the call is recorded. We keep the caller’s name, number, reason for calling, the recording and a transcript. We agree with you how long they are kept before launch. We confirm where data is stored before you start.
What happens when it can’t help?
It takes the caller’s name, number and reason, says someone will call back, and emails you a summary. It never gives legal, tax, insurance or mortgage advice.
How long is the contract?
The pilot has no contract. Office has a 3-month minimum. Solo is month to month.
How do I cancel?
Email JM at jm@mahoricai.com. The pilot needs no payment details, so nothing is billed unless you choose to continue. There is no setup fee to lose.
